“I urge incoming BJP MPs Kamat and Sequeira to demand that the Chief Minister drop the beach cleaning contract and save nearly 60 crore from the Treasury,” Patkar said. “It is shocking to see the huge amount of rubbish being collected by Ministers and others who took part in the campaign to mark the ‘Clean Coast, Safe Sea’ campaign across Goa. This proves that the government appointed beach cleaning company is doing nothing,” he added.
